Gloria’s Davao Trip and Ces Drilon’s release

Pardon my suspicious mind, but I noticed one thing about Ces release that seemed uncanny. Remember the kidnappers giving a Tuesday 12 noon deadline and abruptly deciding to make it indefinite? Then, within a few hours, the PNP chief Avelino Razon announced that Ces will be released a few hours after that?

What I noticed is this–the release coincided with Gloria’s trip to Davao City for the Lakas-Kampi merger ceremonies. Did Malacanan ordered its operators to settle the kidnapping issue to avoid humiliating the president who was scheduled to annoint her ARMM candidate on that day?

Was this the reason for the appearance of two duffel bags which were allegedly given by an unnamed attorney to one of the kidnappers?

Was there an order from the powers-that-be to Indanan Mayor Isnaji to end this thing immediately because the president is arriving in Mindanao and don’t want this thing to distract her?

The palace is dishing out a propaganda release saying that the AFP presence in the area forced the “unconditional” release of Ces Drilon (as what Loren Legarda told the presscon). Notice how tight-lipped Ces was when Loren was saying all these things? Maybe the AFP presence, did, indeed put the fear of God into the hearts of these young thugs.

I think though that the glitter of gold really turned things around.

And Razon and Malacanang handlers could have feared the Lady’s wrath which is worth more than 15Million.

Lastly, notice that the kidnapping only lasted ten days…an apparent and staged incident which was used as a pressure point incident for Gloria? And for what? For that precious anointment as Lakas-Kampi ARMM gubernatorial candidate?

Or, this is just a fund-raising activity in preparation for the ARMM elections. I am awaiting with bated breath how Malacanang propaganda operators would try to wiggle themselves from this.

Shame….are you saying that it was the President who orchestrated and managed the kidnapping of Ces. How can you be stupid, so low and so flimsy?
The president is accused to be doing everything… such paranoia.. and such foolish thoughts.

Let us help the President cause when we help the President.. we help the country to be better.

    Brains… and a simple intelligence !

    Thanks…and no thanks…

Nah, read again Malou. I am not saying that Gloria orchestrated the whole thing. Read again. Maybe you woke up in the wrong side of the bed, Malou. Read and be enlightened.

    And use your brains please.

Pat, I think the real determinant was when intelligence information, this time conrrect, confirmed that the hostages where no longer reel in the cave-strewn jungle of Mt. Tumatangis where Ces and her companions were last seen on foot but just in Talipao town conveniently adjacent to the very town ruled by the good mayor, Alvarez Idnaji who was, ‘very conveniently, also the negotiator. And if we are to borrow the term used by PNP boss Acelino Razon, Isnaji was strangely sounding like he was speaking, and negotiating for the abductor! Talk about sleeping with the enemy, right?

So thecway things are unraveling there was a local maestro conducting the kidnap-for ransom orchestra in exciting Sulu.

Hey this almost looks like Metro Manila with hostages been hidden not in some distant safehouse but just around the corner, sa tungkil ng ilong ng mga awtoridad.

Perhaps the kidnappers were trying to save on board and lodging expenses.

The plan is supposed to be gma will be beside ces after her release; but along the way things went awry as loren came up and stole the scene from gma.

Its supposed to be a dramatic picture taking for gma that will hug the front pages of national dailies. Somehow somebody was ahead of her.
